The River

The Reedy River: Griffin Park’s best friend

The Reedy River has served as a life force for the city of Greenville, dating before the time town founder, Vardry McBee, first built a mill along its banks in the early 1800s. Today, the River is still a source of joy for all who live here.

Griffin Park celebrates the river with River Park, spreading out along 4,000 feet of Reedy River frontage. This particularly lovely expanse offers a natural sandy beach, a canopy of overhanging trees, running water over rock formations and beautiful views. A planned amphitheater here will provide an excellent location for community entertainment.

The Reedy will be a friend to Griffin Park and Griffin Park will always treasure this amenity.
